contemporary misgivings

About

Who are you?

We used to be about a dozen people from Santa Barbara, though that’s no longer the case.  For the moment, it’s me (Esme Pestel) and whoever joins me in reviving this moribund blog.

With added commentary from Tyrone Kissinger, a naughty little fish with a penchant for swimming up a man’s urethra!

What is your stupid blog about?

Depending on author, mood, current interest, and climate the blog can be about science, politics, philosophy, or anything really. Ideas mostly. Ideas you can steal to make yourself look smart in front of other people. Or maybe stupid.

It is also about Nicolas Cage.

When did this blog start?

03 September 2008 ~10pm. If you want the truly authentic date of inception, skip that ahead to Brazil & Greenland time, as that was the default setting of the clock on the server when contemporary misgivings was born.

How can I contact you?

I don’t know. Hopefully someone who knows that will update this. I’m guessing something like the bat signal, though.

  1. I like how my description is smack dab in the middle. For some reason I am really fond of that.

  6. I added place holder descriptions for our latest writers, hopefully it will motivate them to think of something harder, better, stronger, faster.

  7. No! I like the descriptions of each one. And I really enjoy the latest ones as well. Especially Thunderfuck. It’s true, if you’ll fuck thunder, you’re bound to fuck anything. I approve.

  9. Good god. He must be immortal to be able to do those types of acts.
I wish I could. I wonder what it would be like to be that man. I bet it’s awesome.
